REAL WON’T PANIC

Carlo Ancelotti, the Los Blancos boss, has insisted that the situation is not panicky in his camp at the moment despite a couple of recent defeats.

The men in white have been beaten twice on the bounce in the Spanish top tier and as a result, have slipped out of top 10 in the table.

The points’ gap between Real Madrid and their main title rivals Barcelona is 6 already and it can widen even more if Ancelotti’s boys don’t get some wins under their belt fast.

Ancelotti himself has also been taking a bit of a hammering from the club fans for several of his decisions. Not too many fans liked the selling of Di Maria and they haven’t liked this 4-3-3 formation of the Italian manager either.

The experts are also of the view that Ancelotti needs to change his tactics a little bit and use a different formation in the next few games.

Ancelotti though seems to be unfazed by all the criticism. He has hinted to be going to persist with the same system, even if the football betting markets seem to suggest that he will be out of a job unless things pick up!

Talking to the reporters ahead of the game against Deportivo La Coruna, Ancelotti said, “We don’t need to do anything extra. We just have to get tightened up a little bit and we will be fine. We have been to this venue a number of times and have done well here.”

“The boys are in good frame of mind. There is no panic. We know we are better than what we have shown to people so far.”

Real had actually started the season alright, achieving a comfortable 2-0 win over Cordoba, but, in the two games after that, they have paid the price for their weak defence.

The Los Blancos have conceded as many as 6 goals in their last two league games.
